Why did capture fail on some sites?

Sites that block automated browsers (common with Cloudflare challenges) may refuse the request. Private or local addresses are blocked for security.

Is this a design QA tool?

No. Screenshots use a fixed layout width from the preset and do not replace visual regression testing or real-device checks.
